Byte Slaves offers you more than one option when it comes to support. We're certain you will find an option that meets your needs and one that will fit your budget.
On Site Service. This is by far our most popular support service. One of our technicians comes to your home or office to repair your ailing computer, set up or troubleshoot your network or anything else you might need assistance with. Our rate for this service is $90 per hour (plus tax) with a one hour minimum. Additional time is billled in half-hour increments. For locations requiring a travel time of more than fifteen minutes, we do charge for travel time in 15-minute increments.
In Shop Service. Sometimes it is more cost effective to have your computer serviced in our shop. You can drop your computer off at our
convenient downtown Bothell location and let our technicians repair your system on our service bench. Since out technicians can work on several computers at a time, your costs will be lower than having us perform the repairs in your home or office. Our shop rate is $75 per hour (plus tax) with a one hour minimum.
Remote Support. If you have a broadband Internet connection, call us and have one of our technicians log in to your PC remotely and diagnose and resolve you computer problem while you watch. You can even go about your business while our technician is working on your computer. At only $50 per hour (plus tax) it's affordable and it's fast. We have customers all over the US and even overseas that rely on our remote support.
Peace of Mind Insurance (PMI). We offer three levels of PMI to meet your specific needs:
- Personal (12.95/mo. with $25 setup per PC). Using our secure online service a Byte Slaves technician logs in to your PC once a month. Our tech will verify your anti-virus software is active and up-to-date, remove built up temporary files and check for potential hardware and software problems. When complete, you will receive a report detailing what was done.
- Professional* ($19.95/mo. with $50 setup per PC). All the features of Personal PMI with the addition of customized real-time alarms. Our staff will be notified immediately when problems are detected on your protected computers. Our technicians can either log in remotely or arrive on site to address the problem, minimizing downtime and the potential for data loss.
- Executive* ($34.95/mo. with $150 setup per PC). Let us take care of everything! This upgrade to our Professional PMI adds a managed backup solution. Our technicians will ensure that your backups are running successfully and your data is secure.
